Dua for one afflicted by a calamity.

 

إِنَّا لِلهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي ، وَاخْلُفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا 

Translation 

"To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allah, recompense me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better." *Whoever says this supplication Allah will replace it for him with something better (as mentioned by the messenger of Allah)

 Transliteration

 innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji‛oon, allaahumma’ jurnee fee muṣeebatee, wakhluf lee khayran minhaa Sources: Muslim No# 918; in [Abu Dawud No# 3119, At-Tirmidhi No# 3511 and Ibn Majah No# 1598] with a different wording
