“My Lord, make this city secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols”

رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ

Rabbi ij’al haathal-balada aaminan wajnubnee wabaniyya an na’budal-asnaam

Surah Ibrahim, verse 35 This dua can be recited For Keeping you and your Sons from Worshipping Idols For protection from Shirk (polytheism) For the safety and security of your city [from any riots, oppression, or disasters]
